JDM EGO if ya don't know is masterminded by an old friend of mine Jay Bryan... Blog meets a brand meets a man... He's seriously crazy psycho collectory guy, he already knows about it before it was released, he tells Steve Jobs secrets, His middle name is "Limited"...I keed I keed, not really... Jay has a very storied rad past of cars, culture, design and inspiration in his life... His pet project is JDM EGO, what is JDM EGO? Somewhere it exists between cars, culture 80's or maybe it's just as a random as Jay is himself and the rising, dissapearing of his epic blog or who knows but its fun... Atta boy Jay and SUPER STOKED on the new valve caps for my cruiser, saving the other 2 pair for another couple bikes I have in the works... TO ORDER JDM EGO CLICK HERE & tell him Jarod sent ya... EXEDY Racing Clutches has asked myself to host some more install videos in addition to the videos already created, captured by the homie Willie T. These were shot at Vivid Racing in Arizona and then technical consultant Evan Cline was on hand to make sure it's all up to snuff. We handle the business but of course have a good time doing it! Why not!?!?! Here's Evan modeling some NOS Energy Drink  Day 1 was an RSX stage 2 install and more NOS of course...  Willie & I... Cheesy!  Who remembers Modifiers toys? I do because I worked there and had a lot to do with the product..  Willie T is killing it these days, he does alot of video for a lot of people but DO NOT MESS UP HIS FOOD!  We were twittering it up over the past few days...  Thanks Vivid...  Willie slapping some REVOK stickers on my hood...  Parker joined Willie, Evan and I for dinner, good times at Joe's Real BBQ...  The guys were having a hard time picking what to eat...  Actually Thursday AM for breakfast back to downtown Gilbert for Liberty Market breakfast and while there saw my friend James Mustang... Slick... That's a driver for sure!  Back to Vivid for the G35 clutch install and tech video shoot... 1st shoot Vivid's 360 Ferrari with the Carbon Fiber wrap...   Here's THRWBAK aka Vivid's 510 blasty blast machine! I whipped it around, how fun!!!!  Can't go home empty handed Willie T, so I laced him with some INCIPIO goodies for your iPod 4th Gen, oh yeah!  San Tan Brewing for dinner and some Cherry Poppin Porter on cask, decent not amazing...  '' Spotted this in Downtown Chandler, I'll beback in about a month, wanna see what's in there!!!!  Next took Willie to the BMX Only park, rad park for sure...   Sunset ripped...  Knew one of the kids there, he did some flares and interviews for Willie, Vid to come soon, just some fun stuff for sure... Super fun and rad to watch kids do what they love!!!  Day is done!!! The weather across the country is cold and I'm probably safe in saying that AZ has some of the nicest weather in the country right now but dang it's cold... Here's our fountain frozen this morning...  This week and weekend in Arizona is the Waste Management Phoenix Open, good times, great people watching and usually good golf... Well a few of my friends and I, thanks to Nic for the tickets rolled up there had drinks and DIDN'T watch golf well because it was too damn cold! It was super cold, yes sunny, yes blue skies but BRISK!!!!!!!!!!!! So the Pro/Am guys/gals didnt play, lame town!!! Hence the freezing balls in more ways than one!  Here's the crew...  Lookout!  CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!  Grass is green, skies blue & nobodys playing because it's TOO COLD WAAA!  So here's HOLE 16 aka The Most exciting hole on the PGA Tour, and loudest! Check out the ampitheatre set up for real!    Technology in the trash world, they compact solars in this bin!  GET LOUD, Wait this is golf right?!?!?! Jersey Shore meets Golf Tournaments at the Waste Management Phoenix Open, haha  Who's gonna win 2011?!?!?! Possibly you?!?!?!  Birds Nest party, Doobie Bros were to play and did, BUT we left before they played because it was way too damn cold!  BUT on our way out to the car at the Patron booth we encountered THE BUMBYS Who are The Bumbys?!?!?! They freeze the ice cream using nitrogen right in front of you, like Cold Stone + Mr Wizard = Sub Zero, it rips!!!  Parker loved it and tasted great! This past Friday was a great day into evening as an event that was curated by my homie Slim aka Dearly Departed thrown at High Point Shoes... The event to raise money for our tattooing 19 year old homie Andrick Aviles + his mom & dad to gain residency here in the U.S. of A. Raised some money, had some fun and gave out some NOS Energy Drink & some INCIPIO cases to the packed house! High Point in Scottsdale, owned by Adrian Wilson of the Cardinals...  The man of the night Andrick Aviles, caught a new phone so I laced him with a new INCIPIO case of course...  Shirts for sale Dearly Departed X High Point X Aviles fam...  Art work donated... UVT X SE Racing Fixed Freestyle Frameset
Today marks a milestone for the brand. For the past couple years we have been building our fixed gear team and now through countless hours working out the details, we are proud to present our first collaborative project with SE Bikes. Spearheaded by our own James Banuelos, the UVT frame was designed from the ground up to withstand the harshest abuse that riders are putting their bikes through. Tested by Gus Molina, Josh Boothby, and DJ Mull, the frame has been put through months of abuse to make sure that theframe is bombproof. The Cr-Mo frame has been fully heat treated with the top and down tubes being double butted. The seat tube has been cut-out to allow clearance for larger (50c) tire sizes along with ovalized & tapered seat and chain stays for extra tire and foot clearances. The 73mm mid bottom bracket and Campy compatible integrated headset are both externally machined and a sealed Tange headset comes installed as well as a trick integrated seat clamp. Finally, the Landing Gear forks are heat treated & butted for even more strength.
To match the aggressive nature of the technical specs, we gave the bike our signature treatment, choosing a metallic grey paint for the base color of the frame, and wrapping our tonal hand drawn snake scale print around the front, and our brand motto “Never Stop” is printed on the brake bridge along with UVT/SE branding on the seat tube.
Now to keep the engine flowing the UVT crew made some beer & complimented it with what I would like to call a MANS Pocket Tee, this thing rips!
Can't wait to rock one and especially try the actual beer!

Long Beach, Calif. – January 20, 2011 – Formula DRIFT has announced the official 2011 Pro Championship Schedule of Events. Palm Beach International Raceway has been added to the list of venues and will host Round 3 on June 3-4, 2011.

For the first time in several seasons Formula DRIFT has added a new venue and will visit South Florida at Palm Beach International Raceway in West Palm Beach. The newly remodeled facility features multiple state of the art tracks. Formula DRIFT will utilize the road course to create a unique drifting course that is to Formula DRIFT standards.
“I have been to the track since the new face-lift and it is truly a remarkable facility,” stated Ryan Sage, vice president and co-founder of Formula DRIFT. “From the course expansions, tarmac condition, lighting and the fact that it is situated in South Florida. Palm Beach International Raceway will be a great addition to the Series.”

The official roster of drivers include: past Scandinavian champion, Fredric Aasbo, 2009 Formula DRIFT champion, Chris Forsberg, 2-time Formula DRIFT champion and 3-time X-Games Gold Medalist Tanner Foust, top ranking driver, Ryan Tuerck, past New Zealand champion and Formula DRIFT USA & Asia competitor, Mike Whiddett, Formula DRIFT veteran Daijiro Yoshihara and Formula Drift regulars Ken Gushi, and Michael Essa along with Tony Brakohiapa as the alternate driver.
