- Q: How do I turn the lights on?
- A: The power button for the lights is on the right hand side of the battery when the Kindle is facing you. The lights have 3 levels of brightness - push the power button once for low light, twice for medium, three times for the brightest setting and fourth final time to turn the lights off.

I purchased this case when I got my new Kindle and after about 2 months, the light came on and stayed on, I could not switch it off. I work in IT so, am very familiar with electronics and how sometimes they just go bad, and then how hard it is to get support afterwards. So, with grim determination, I called mailed Incipio support stating my problem and fully expecting to have to go through several email exchanges and maybe a phone call or two for them to finally replace the product which was obviously defective. Much to my surprise, the first reply I got back from Incipio was "That is not a common problem and we are sending out a new case now. You should have it in 3-5 business days." Thank you very much for resurectting customer service. When I get my next Kindle, I will be looking to Incipio for the case.
